I homeschooled my four daughters for 10 years.

From the comfort of our kitchen table, we navigated curriculum from pre-school through high school. I talked with so many people who were skeptical about my ability to teach my own children. I knew my kids better than anyone else; I know I was qualified for the task. Still, I longed for a partner in education to come alongside with the technical expertise to understand how my girls were doing in their various subjects.

This service includes:

• A one-on-one session to meet your student and assess their basic skills, including math fluency and problem-solving skills, reading fluency, comprehension and writing skills.

• Review of some of your child’s completed assignments, especially writing samples.

• The data will be compared with Washington’s educational standards. We will know how your student measures up to the expectations of their public school peers.

All this information will be summarized into a consumable, useful tool to support your ongoing homeschooling efforts.
